Alison Carmichael|I actually found Alison's work after I had decided on the direction and impact of "Get Lost" but after seeing these I think I'm going to stick with "Get lost" because given the context and the font used to soften the blow it really doesn't come off as negative
I really love her tongue in cheek approach to things, using recognizable locations for graffiti i.e dirty vans and school desks and softening them by using a more elegant type. It really makes you question the context.
I was looking at type treatments as I wanted to be light hearted and fun with this brief.
I really like this one treatment. All the letters join up and there're are plenty of loops which gives it a really laid back feel. The letters are pretty thick so its a really fun treatment.
